Quilting Workshop at the Woodcarvers Roundup

Instructor- Chris O'Dea

This is a one day class. We will be making a quilted Handbag approximately 9 x 12 inches with pockets on the inside, one on the outside and two handles.

Chris will bring “kits” with the fabric, batting, and a pattern. Cost of materials will be about $18.00.

You must bring:

  • Sewing Machine (with your instruction book if available)

  • Extra needles for you machine

  • Sharp Scissors

  • Thread (nuetral colors, white, tan or black)

  • 2 Extra Bobbins filled

    If you have these bring them:

  • Walking Foot for you machine (if you have one)
  • Darning Foot or Appliqué Foot or Quilting Foot

    Bring the following if you have them: Chris will have a few extra with her.

  • Rotary cutter
  • 24 inch Ruler
  • Mat (to cut fabric on with the Rotary Cutter)
